This is a quick loop trail in Joshua Tree National Park that shows off the park's most common flora.
Traveling northeast along CA-62 (signed as the route to Joshua Tree National Park), 62 eventually becomes 29 Palms Highway. Look for the sign that says "Black Rock Canyon Campground" which indicates Joshua Lane - turn right on this street and follow signs for the campground. Turn right into the campground and then look for a sign for South Park Parking area where you will find the trailhead.
This is a small loop trail directly across from the High View Nature Trail right on the northwest border of Joshua Tree National Park. You will see the typical Joshua Trees and other local plants along this trail, which can be fairly steep.
