This famous 620 foot waterfall in Yosemite National Park is accessible via a simple walk up a paved path. Most tours of Yosemite include a stop here for good reason, and the mist and spray that comes from the fall can be extremely strong in the spring.
From Yosemite Valley head toward Highway 41 which ascends toward the Wawona lookout. Very shortly after turning on to 41 you will see the large parking lot for Bridalveil Fall. Park here in the large lot and follow the crowds toward the paved trail.
The trail is short and very easy to follow. The paved trail snakes next to the river and gets as close as you'd like to the spray of the waterfall. It's a simple there-and-back route with nothing too complicated.
Because of the huge amount of mist and spray from the waterfall, the path can actually get very slippery. During the spring there will be a huge amount of spray, probably too much for most people to get too close.
There are always a lot of crowds at this trail as it is on the main circuit for the tour groups and because it is so easy to get to the falls.

There are bathrooms in the Bridalveil Fall parking lot. Best place to get food afterward is back at Yosemite Village.
