This is a very fairly easy hike in Los Padres National Forest to the base of a double tier waterfall, the 300 foot Rose Valley Falls.
Coming from Ojai, drive about 15 miles north on Highway 33 and take the Rose Valley exit. Make a right onto Rose Valley and drive another 3 miles to the Rose Valley Campground turnoff where you will take another right. About 0.5 miles will be the trailhead where you can park.
From the trailhead, you will follow Rose Creek for about 0.5 miles before you will be able to see the upper falls. The trail continues to the base of the lowerfalls. You can take several side trails up to the base of the upper falls but these alternate routes are exposed and you should be careful if attempting any.
